2005
Through deep reflection, Landon Mercer reignited his faith. He realized that creating wealth through investing, and using that wealth to spread love and hope, was far more meaningful than wealth itself. So, in 2005, he founded the Helios Investment Research Institute.

The concept of a "Investment Learning " was born, and he named it MARY He recalled studying neural networks while at CMU and the awe he felt in 1997 when IBM's Deep Blue defeated chess world champion Garry Kasparov. It was then he deeply understood that AI could surpass human limitations.
